  Zero Carbon? Aim Lower
Since the introduction of the Code for Sustainable Homes (CfSH), the Government has set the environmental goal of reaching ‘Zero Carbon'. It is important to understand that using any form of insulation helps significantly cut carbon emissions. But with global warming presenting a significant threat to everyone’s lives, is ‘Zero' really low enough?

Using Warmcel
WARMCEL has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of -1.5, meaning it sequesters carbon, locking it within the fabric of a building (rather than allowing it to be released from the newsprint as methane at landfill). When compared to an insulation material with a GWP of 10, use of WARMCEL will save an additional 2.16m tonnes of CO2 (based upon 800,000 x 45m2 buildings over their lifetime).
